TAPASTRY @ PLING – The Art of Tapas | by Pullman

The history of Tapas is interesting. The concept originated in Spain, the word itself derived from the Spanish ‘tapar’ – to cover. An array of appetizers or snacks was served to travelers – mainly because the percentage of writing and reading population was low – to sample the food available. What started as a situational solution has now evolved into a sophisticated cuisine.

‘Tapastry by Pullman’ is a new concept – mainly intended to cater to the after work moments – and what better than Tapas – even the serving size is designed to persuade conversations – the focus not being on the elaborate menu set in front of people, but on socializing.

The menu comprises of warm tapas, cold tapas, Chef’s recommendations and sweet tapas. A cyclic Tapastry menu by the Chef ensures that guests enjoy traditional as well as local flavors. With the freedom to the customer to order what, how much and when they want to order – Tapastry guarantees a celebration of the rich and diverse heritage of the world’s best cuisines, each unique and intended to be shared; presented in a way which compliments local taste and aspirational dining desires! Top it up with the live band during the Tapastry hours, and the experience just becomes better.

Complimenting the concept of Tapastry is ‘Vinoteca by Pullman’ – a concept that allows guests to taste a selection of international and domestic wines by the glass.
